My name is Jenn and I am finally taking the plunge into blogging. I am hoping that blogging will be a fun and motivating way of making these memories of my life as a stay at home mom last.
About Us:
Jenn :: Graphic Designer turned Work At Home Mom and eventually Stay At Home. I’d love to earn some extra money again but who has the time with these kids? I don’t want to wear myself too thin, so for now I am just enjoying making a home for my family and taking care of everyone. I also love to cook so I am sure I will post recipes now and then. I love to try new things, but promise I will only share the very successful recipes. ;)
Jason :: Amazing husband and father. We’ve known each other since I was 15. Dated in high school and separated while we were both in college. I started dating him again my Sr. year in college and moved here to be with him after that. The rest is history I guess!
Tyson (7 next month, gasp!) :: Such a smart and funny boy. He is sensitive like his mommy and can get his feelings hurt pretty easily but he also goes with the flow. Transitioning to all day/every day school was no big deal for either Tyson or Dylan, which is a perfect example of this personality trait. They definitely get that from their father! Tyson loves to read and play Webkinz online. He is fascinated w/ anything creepy/crawly: Bugs, snakes, reptiles, etc. Loves non-fiction too. He just loves to learn and is always asking questions about anything and everything. He also likes to play typical school yard games: Dodgeball, Kickball, Tag, etc. Ty is extremely good as far as being obedient, I think part of it is his personality and part of it is his age. He listens really well and is a great helper!
Dylan (4) :: Smiley, goofy, happy-go-lucky, cuddly. He is more stubborn than his older brother and likes to ignore his mother’s requests until I ask him three times. That seems to be the magic number these days. Sigh. Again, this is part age/part personality. I continue to adore his blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He started all day preschool two days a week this year at Tyson’s school. He also rides the bus to school with Tyson which was a big hurdle for me, and he was fine with it. He loves playing with cars and always has. He recently decided that riding a bike IS fun (he refused to pedal for the LONGEST time). So he asked to ride his bike every single day. I have a feeling we will be doing some bike riding in the basement this winter.
The boys play really well together, which is so nice and helps a lot! Dylan just said the other day that what he loves about Tyson is that he comes up with games for them to play together. It was pretty cute and melted my heart to see that he appreciates Tyson for that. Don't get me wrong, the fight like crazy too, about the silliest things!
Jack (17 months) :: I could go on and on but I guess most people will understand when I say he is a typical “third child”. Gets into everything, likes to defy me constantly. Let’s just put it out there, he’s naughty to the core. Okay it’s maybe not that bad. I will also say he is adorable and so much fun to play with. A huge mama's boy. He has started talking more and more which is fun. I’d say he can say about 20 or so words. I haven’t written them out and need to do that.
I finally made it. I hope to update my blog very soon. Still didn't save my BOLU journals. Might have to subscribe for one more month to do that.
